The Walker School's AP German Class Wins International Contest
The Walker School's AP German class has won the inaugural season of an international contest called "Bundesliga Total!"

May 26, 2016 -- The Walker School's AP German class has won the inaugural season of an international contest called “Bundesliga Total!,” sponsored by the Goethe Institut, the DFL Deutsche Fussball Liga, and Deutsche Welle. The AP German class was one of 20 participating teams from the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Every month over the course of the German Bundesliga soccer season (a professional soccer league in Germany), participating teams answered extensive questions about recent Bundesliga games, German culture, and televised highlight reels, earning points for correct answers. Walker's team, BVB Bärenmarder, finished the season in first place with a score of 204 points, narrowly beating the New Hampshire Faultiere who finished second with 203 points.
Walker's AP German team won several prizes, including a special prize for team captain Zach Hamilton: a hand-signed jersey from Christian Pulisic, a 17 year old from Hershey, PA who plays for Borussia Dortmund and is quickly becoming an international soccer star.
