Walton Band Hosts Combined Recycling, Garage Sale Events

The Walton High School band is hosting a fundraising event this weekend which will feature a garage sale and electronics recycling all rolled into one.

East Cobber Magazine reports the event will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday inside the school’s two gymnasiums. Recycling will begin at 9 a.m. at Lot D.
Those who wish to bring items to recycle are asked to bring a $10 donation. Additional suggested donations are as follows:

- $15/computer monitor
- $2/under one gallon of paint
- $3/1 gallon
- $5/2 gallons
- 10/5 gallons of paint
