We rescued 10 kitties Saturday, 10 others went to new homes

While our adoption counselors were busy finding new homes for 10 wonderful kitties yesterday, our staff was in the back, processing in 10 new kitties!

 We received an urgent call from Cobb County Animal Control: they were full, had no cage space and were euthanizing. Rescue could not wait until Monday; the cats had to be pulled on Saturday. So our staff went to Cobb and pulled 5 adults and 5 kittens.

 We truly wish we could save them all, but that is just not possible. But we are grateful for the ones we are able to save. Because of our staff, volunteers, supporters and adopters, these kitties have a second chance at a new life.

 Marilyn is one of the beautiful kitties that came to Good Mews yesterday. She is so happy she is now safe.

 So while we cheer for our sweet babies that found wonderful homes yesterday, we are also cheering for the 10 new babies that will also find wonderful homes soon.
