Wheeler Band Marches Strong
The Wildcat Pride picked up several honors for its performance at a Florida competition in October.
The Wheeler Wildcat Pride Marching Band won first in class as well as first-place trophies in percussion, guard, visual and music – all trophies in its division — at the East Lake Classic competition in Tarpon Springs, Florida on Saturday, Oct. 22.
The Wildcat Pride won second place overall among all bands in the competition. The band's director is Mark Hoskins and the assistant director is Anthony Higdon.
