Dianne Pampillon’s lawsuit claims that one of the technicians taking her blood twisted and jerked the needle inside her arm, causing her extreme pain. The lawsuit claims she suffered from pain similar to an electric shock and was suffering for the majority of her hour-long blood donation, the Marietta Daily Journal reports.
Since the incident, Pampillon says she has lost the use of her right arm and suffers from a condition known as reflex sympathetic dystrophy, the MDJ reports. The lawsuit seeks compensation for the pain she suffered, the loss of income resulting from her injury and inability to continue working as a dog groomer, and for loss of quality of life.
