Woman Arrested After 5 Hit-and-Runs in East Cobb
Witnesses say the driver plowed through an intersection; police say she's been charged with DUI.

A woman has been taken into custody after she allegedly committed five hit and run traffic accidents while plowing through an East Cobb intersection Monday night.

According to WSB-TV, police say Cynthia Hambrick barreled through the intersection of Cobb Parkway and Barclay Circle in a gray SUV during rush hour. No fatalities were reported in any of the accidents.
A witness told WSB-TV the scene resembled an incident from the video game ”Grand Theft Auto;” police told WSB-TV they found an open liquor bottle in the front seat of Hambrick’s SUV after the vehicle ground to a halt after it lost a tire.

Hambrick now faces DUI and other traffic charges, WSB-TV said.
