• Dawsonville's Seabolt Notches Home-Water Win at Phoenix Bass Fishing League Event at Lake Lanier Presented by Precision Sonar (anglerschannel.com) — A Flowery Branch angler, Dylan Akins, finished second at the Phoenix Bass Fishing League event on Lake Lanier and also claimed the Berkley Big Bass Boater award with a 6-pound, 12-ounce catch. The two-day tournament drew top competitors from across Georgia, with winners now qualifying for a larger regional event in October.
