FBI data show sharp local reductions in property crimes as well, while Hall Countyβwide numbers are expected later this year.

The Lunch Counter Relocating to Larger Space in Gainesville (whatnow.com) β A popular Gainesville burger spot, The Lunch Counter, is moving to a much larger space at 893 Main Street, with a targeted opening in November. The new location will more than double its size, finally adding on-site seating while keeping its smash burgers, subs, and loaded fries that locals already love.

'My family is everything': How Jeremiah Telander's family values carry him on, off the field (wivk.com) β Before starring at Tennessee, linebacker Jeremiah Telander played every snap at North Hall and Gainesville High School in Gainesville, where his parents' support and film sessions at home shaped his work ethic. His close-knit family still travels regularly to cheer him on, grounding his leadership and humility as he enters his senior season in Knoxville.

4. Pharm. D "Sherry" Sherron Elizabeth Knowles (wilsoncountysource.com) β Family and friends are remembering Sherron "Sherry" Knowles, who graduated from Brenau Academy High School in Gainesville before building a long pharmacy career with several major chains. The Knoxville resident, active in the Order of the Eastern Star, is survived by two sisters, several nieces, and great-nieces and nephews, with a private graveside service planned.
