Gwinnett County approves another $5.6M for major animal shelter renovations (wsbradio.com) — Gwinnett County commissioners have approved an additional $5.6 million to renovate the Bill Atkinson Animal Welfare Center, significantly expanding and modernizing adoption and intake spaces. The project will add new triage rooms, outdoor dog meet-and-greet pods, and a free-roaming cat area, aiming to improve efficiency and the experience for the thousands of residents who visit or adopt pets each year.
3.
