Boys Win Gives Norcross High Two Titles in One Night
Blue Devils beat Hillgrove to win the Georgia High School Association boys Class 6A basketball championship.
After seeing what happened Saturday night in the Georgia High School Association basketball finals at the Macon Centreplex, it's clear no other high school in Georgia having a better year than Norcross High School.
Gwinnett County is doing pretty well, too.
Norcross completed an amazing sweep by beating Hillgrove 60-48 to win the Class AAAAAA boys basketball championship. The win came after the Norcross girls beat North Gwinnett 63-42 for the 6A championship.

Norcross High has won championships in Football, Girls Basketball and Boys Basketball this school year, believed to be the first time that's happened in GHSA history.

Brandon Goodwin scored 22 points to lead Norcross, which pulled away late after the game had been tight most of the way.
Both Norcross wins drew big crowds and were televised live by Georgia Public Broadcasting and live-streamed on the Internet by PlayOn Sports and the GHSA.
Norcross High's successes made Gwinnett County 4 for 4 in the state finals. In Friday's Class AA finals, Wesleyan's girls and GAC's boys also won titles.
So far this school year, Gwinnett schools have won 14 GHSA championships.
