It took several years for our little guy to enter the world. The morning we found out we were over the moon! We decided we would not tell anyone just yet, we wanted to "confirm" this was really happening. That lasted all of two minutes and we were shouting it from the roof top! We had so many emotions through the pregnancy, excitement, worry, fear things all new parents go through. Then the day came, Harrison was coming ready or not.. At that point there was no turning back! It was all or nothing!! My husband worries so much as it is you can imagine his stress level (beyond high) about what kind of Daddy he would be.. Well 4 years later I can tell you he is the best Daddy any little person could ask for! He amazes me everyday with our son. He has always been kind, giving and caring but he has been all of these things and more since having Harrison. Seeing them together makes my heart happy, it is a feeling that cannot be described in words. Harrison comes before anything and anyone else, he is our world! My little man is so fortunate to have Mike Burns as his Daddy and as he continues to grow up I will continue to remind him of this!! Thank you Mike for all that you do, endure and sacrifice to make us happy!!
