"Building Communities Off the Clock"

The Entrepreneurial & Professional spirit is alive in Gwinnett! Twisted Taco in Suwanee with the elegance of the roof and great food, Won!

The word for today is: Building Communities Off the Clock! When you build communities with diverse backgrounds, professions, business acumen and skill off the clock, you build a County rich with a beautiful history in the future of history books . . . to having the diversity of thought come to life, focused on the brilliance of Gwinnett County, a County with a tagline: "Success Lives Here!

Nicole Hendrickson, Community Outreach Program Director for Gwinnett County, was the co-sponsor for Building Communities Off the Clock, as a way to merge key organizations, and this vision produced a great cultural arm to be increased within the community which aligns strongly with Gwinnett County's vision to strengthen how we connect to the many diverse citizens in our County.

And, for any of the great personnel who attended the Mixer with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Gwinnett Young Professionals, Millennial Leadership Academy and the Office of Community Outreach for the Gwinnett County Government, you will have discovered a synergy, right on the clock of 6:30 p.m., right when the Mixer started to the end! We all felt an alliance, a confederation, a fusion, an increased harmony, and reciprocity at its' finest due to the "switch" nature in networking where everyone had the profound opportunity of getting a chance to know everyone with an inaugural "business icebreaker" as a leadership component for joint action!

Many attendees were present to build the nature of their repertoire and one particularly in mind was a dissertation student from M.I.T, focusing his Ph.d on diverse communities targeting Gwinnett. And to cap the Millennial flavor, State Senator P.K. Martin was present and Georgia House of Representatives Member, David Clark; Founder and Chair of HYPE, Juanita Velez, Atlanta Night Market Founder, David Lee, former WNBA Player, now Entrepreneur, Nakia Sanford and Chief Marketeer, Sir Markadoo Haggins, as well as Board Chair for the Gwinnett Young Professionals, Ryan Bonilla, Sean George of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, and Juan Mejia of HYPE, Chairman of the Millennial Leadership Academy, Dr. Hai Ho and its Board of Directors to include Matt Nguyen, Benny Troung and Thuy Hotle, and Executive Director of MLA, Annette Davis Jackson.

In ending, when the clock crowed: A good time was had by all! Cheers to our continued success as 4 organizations merging together for one purpose: To build the wealth of Gwinnett in its greatest goldmine of a brilliant diverse population!
