The owner of the Super Car Wash on Braselton Highway estimates it will cost $3,000 to replace the machine damaged during a Dec. 30 theft attempt. The owner contacted Gwinnett County Police after discovering the damage and reviewing surveillance video of the incident. According to the police report, a silver Toyota minivan pulled up next to the vacuum around 10 p.m. on Dec. 30. One male exited the vehicle and appeared to stand watch while the other male attempted to pry open the front door of the machine. Read more on Dacula Patch.
