The Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) Gwinnett Career Center and the Crossroads Career Network will co-sponsor their Ninth Annual Career Expo Tuesday, Aug. 20. The expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Snellville United Methodist Church, Building C, located at 2428 Main St. East in Snellville.
The expo will feature more than 30 employers and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers. The employers will be hiring or discussing current and future employment opportunities, while other organizations will provide information about additional resources.
Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available job openings. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.

The expo will also feature workshops and job-related seminars on interviewing, networking and career transition.
