The City of Lilburn’s Alcohol Compliance Rate is at 77%
The City of Lilburn Police Department's compliance check results from April 2023 to September 2023 are in for the City of Lilburn.
Underage drinking is an important issue that continues to require our attention in Gwinnett County. One way that helps reduce the access our teens have to alcohol is through conducting compliance checks. During these checks, an underage decoy goes inside a restaurant or store and tries to purchase alcohol. If an employee sells to the decoy, he or she receives a citation. This serves as a clear reminder and expectation to check IDs and not sell alcohol to those under 21.
GUIDE would like to recognize and show appreciation to the City of Lilburn retailers that did not sell alcohol during compliance checks from April 2023 to September 2023. These stores help us to ensure the teens in our community stay safe.
