The City of Snellville’s Alcohol Compliance Rate is at 91.7%

The City of Snellville Police Department compliance check results from April 2021 to September 2021 are in for the City of Snellville.

Underage drinking is an important issue that continues to require our attention in Gwinnett County. One way that helps reduce the access our teens have to alcohol is through conducting compliance checks. During these checks, an underage decoy goes inside a restaurant or store and tries to purchase alcohol. If an employee sells to the decoy, he or she receives a citation. This serves as a clear reminder and expectation to check IDs and not sell alcohol to those under 21.

GUIDE would like to recognize and show appreciation to the City of Snellville retailers that did not sell alcohol during compliance checks from April 2021 to September 2021. These stores help us to ensure the teens in our community stay safe.
