KEITH
FLEMING NAMED YMCA 2013 VOLUNTEER OF YEAR




Keith Fleming, a
resident of Dacula, is receiving the YMCA of Metro Atlanta’s 2013 Volunteer of
the Year award for his service at the J.M. Tull-Gwinnett Family YMCA in
Lawrenceville. His work will be honored at the annual volunteer recognition
dinner Monday, November 4, 2013. 



“Keith
displays great leadership and exemplifies our mission along the core values of
our organization,” says Kim Nelson,
executive director of the J.M. Tull-Gwinnett Family Y. “He is truly a Y
advocate in the community.”

Fleming
is a board member at the Tull-Gwinnett Y and currently serves as the board
chair. He is committed to raising money for financial assistance through the
Y’s annual giving campaign, a
program that provides underserved youth the opportunity to participate in Y
programs like academic enrichment and youth sports. 



“The Y is different from
most organizations because it has a critical social objective of youth development,
healthy living and social responsibility and provides support for those in
need,” says Fleming. “There is a real sense of caring, and it shows in
everything we do at the Y. Being part of that makes me feel good about our
inclusive programs and services.”

Fleming
is region manager for Allgood Pest Solutions. He is active in several youth
baseball programs, including the Mill Creek High School Dugout Club and the
University of North Georgia.
