Dacula Teachers at Educator Open House this Weekend

Dacula Elementary School teacher Andrea DeBella (right) and her daughter Natalie visit World of Coca-Cola with fellow teacher Angel Lowe.

Going back to school doesn’t have to mean that summer fun is over. Dacula Elementary School teacher Andrea DeBella and fellow teacher Angel Lowe discovered that on Sept. 20 as they visited the Educator Open House hosted by the World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. At the Open House, educators from across Georgia received complimentary admission to learn more about the attractions’ educational features and field trip opportunities.

At the World of Coca-Cola, Georgia teachers can fulfill hundreds of Common Core Standards in areas like social studies and English/language arts with the World of Coca-Cola’s Teacher Toolkits (http://www.worldofcoca-cola.com/teacher-toolkit/). The attraction also hosts hundreds of field trips a year.
