For the first time ever, Ray Charles’ children will gather together – along with his many fans – to honor and commemorate the music and stories of the life they shared with their late father, at “A Family RAYunion” in downtown Duluth. The FREE community block will take place on Friday, October 3rd on Duluth Town Green from 5-9 p.m., featuring food trucks, family activities, and plenty of live entertainment, with performances by The Tim Montgomery Band, De’Laniger Sounds’ Saxophonist Reginald C. Harris, and other guest artists. The movie “Ray” will be the featured film of the evening and will begin at dusk.
The celebration will continue at Downtown Duluth’s premier music venue, Red Clay Theater with a VIP Concert at 8pm and then the After Party at the Grand Atrium at 10pm. Tickets are required for the concert and after party. For more information visit www.eddieownepresents.com
