GA-PCOM Hosts Hospital Day

The Directors of Graduate Medical Education from hospitals across the southeast will showcase their residency programs to medical students.

(SUWANEE, GA – March 31 2015) Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (GA-PCOM) will host “Hospital Day” on Wednesday, April 1, to give first, second and third year medical students an opportunity to explore residency programs throughout the southeast.

The Directors of Graduate Medical Education from hospitals such as Gwinnett Medical Center, Lawrenceville; Houston Healthcare, Warner Robins, GA; Floyd Medical Center, Rome, GA; Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, Spartanburg, SC; and Osteopathic Medical Network of Excellence in Education, Blacksburg, VA will be on hand to showcase their programs, along with many other hospitals.

GA-PCOM students currently in residency programs at Gwinnett Medical Center and Floyd Medical Center will be available to answer student’s questions. The residency fair takes place each year at medical schools across the nation.
