Get Outside: National Get Outdoors Day is June 8
You are invited to celebrate National Get Outdoors Day this Saturday, June 8, and can take advantage of one — or several — local areas to enjoy being outside.
You're right around the corner from ways to celebrate National Get Outdoors Day on Saturday, June 8.
The Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Department has nearly 50 parks and recreational facilities, and there are even more options at city-run facilities, which number more than 20. Lake Lanier borders the county to the north, and is one of the most visited U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoirs in the country.
