Gwinnett Man Faces Meth Charges in Barrow County
He allegedly had 10 ounces of crystal methamphetamine on him when arrested in a Home Depot parking lot.

The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged a Gwinnett man with drug trafficking after it says it caught him with a large quantity of crystal methamphetamine in a Home Depot parking lot.
Domingo Vargas, 27, of Norcross was arrested Aug. 19 and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine. Vargas is being held awaiting bond in the Barrow County Jail, the sheriff’s office said in a press release.
Vargas allegedly had 10 ounces of crystal meth on him — a street value of $10,000 — when he was caught in the parking lot at 649 Carl-Bethlehem Road and arrested for attempted sale of meth.

The sheriff’s office said the bust was the culmination of an undercover operation.
