The project near PIB in Sugar Hill is expected to take about three years.

Gwinnett Commissioners on Tuesday (May 7) approved the latest phase of the widening of State Route 20 in the Sugar Hill area.
According to a news release, the last remaining two-lane section of SR 20 in Gwinnett will be widened, from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to Burnette Trail in Sugar Hill.
Gwinnett purchased right of way and easements from about 200 properties using state and federal funds, and will also oversee the state-funded construction, according to the release. The project is expected to take about three years.
