Gwinnett Police say they do not believe it was a random crime, the homicide of Robert Mixon, who was found dead of a gunshot wound Friday, Nov. 2, at a Duluth-area apartment complex. Police reported that Mixon, 33, was a resident at Menlo Park Apartments, where his body was found Friday afternoon, sometime after 3:40 p.m. The apartments are located at 4370 Satellite Blvd. Gwinnett Police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith offered no additional details, other than the case is still active.
