Highlighting Gwinnett Braves 2013 Season

When you want all the excitement of a major league baseball game but would rather have a more intimate experience, it’s time to turn to the minor leagues. In Atlanta, minor league fans are rewarded with an amazing team, the Gwinnett Braves. For 2013, the Braves have already shown impressive skills, and fans are looking forward to seeing some of their favorite players move up to the major leagues in the next season.

Played Games

The Gwinnett Braves have had an exciting season so far, and it is far from over. When the season started in April, the Braves started off strong, winning their first four games against Charlotte. Unfortunately, their luck left them when they came up against Durham, who won all three of their games. The win-loss pattern stayed pretty consistent until the Braves entered a slump in late April, running a 14 game losing streak. The team rallied in May while facing Scranton, and built themselves a seven game winning streak towards the end of the month. June has been a mixed bag, with a five game losing streak followed by a six game winning streak in the middle of the month.
