An Introduction to Cancer Treatment - December 9, 1PM - presented by Gwinnett Library

Gwinnett Library presents "An Introduction to Cancer Treatments" Dec 9 at 1pm

The second in Gwinnett Library’s “The C Word: What is Cancer?” series teaches about the major forms of cancer treatment: chemotherapy, radiation, targeted cancer treatment, cancer immunotherapy, and drug resistance. Join biologist and CancerQuest Director Dr. Gregg Orloff as he leads this educational session which will also provide the opportunity to ask questions.

“An Introduction to Cancer Treatment” is presented by Gwinnett County Public Library in partnership with CancerQuest, a non-profit cancer education and outreach program at Emory University that provides reliable information about cancer biology and treatment. This is a free workshop and takes place on December 9 at 1:00pm at the Five Forks Branch, 2780 Five Forks Trickum Rd, Lawrenceville 30044.
