Junior League of Gwinnett & North Fulton Counties Announces Member Spotlight Series

JLGNF congratulates Active Member, Rachael Gibbs.

The Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties (JLGNF) is pleased to announce its new Member Spotlight Series. Throughout the year, JLGNF will periodically profile members who exemplify the very best of their League’s members and “Strong Girls, Bright Futures” initiatives.

The first Member Spotlight features Active Member, Rachael Gibbs. Gibbs joined the League in 2014 to meet like-minded, strong women that she can work closely with to make a difference in the community. She currently serves on the Casino Royale committee and previous placements include High Heels & High Times. The ability to bond with other JLGNF members while working and giving back is something she particularly enjoys.

“I’m thrilled that Rachael is being recognized! She has brought so much to JLGNF with her dedication to serve, enthusiasm for our mission and positive attitude,” says Molly Stone, vice president of finance.

JLGNF’s “Strong Girls, Bright Futures” programming strives to make a difference in the lives of young girls around the community. “The more girls who realize at a young age that they are strong, smart and awesome, the brighter their futures will be. I know women, including myself, who could have benefited from having more self-esteem and activities geared toward building a brighter future for girls when we were younger,” says Gibbs.

A preschool and daycare owner, Gibbs resides in Dacula with her husband, two daughters and dogs. She views her family as her greatest accomplishment in life and her favorite hobby is vacationing with her children. She is also involved with the Georgia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Georgia SPCA).
