A Kindergarten Teacher with Love in Her Heart for Early Education

Primrose School of Five Forks honors Mrs. Kase as the Apple of Our Eye!

Mrs. Kase is the Lead Teacher in the Kindergarten classroom. She has been a member of the Primrose of Five Forks family for 17 years. During that time, she has taught both the Pre-K and Kindergarten programs and has been the Kindergarten teacher since its inception. Mrs. Kase and her husband, John, have two sons. Nick is an 8th grader at St. John Neumann and Alex is in the Level 2 Autism Program at Grace Snell Middle. According to Mrs. Kase, the best behaved member of the family (and the only one who is smaller than she is!) is their beloved dog, Victor. Mrs. Kase was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala and grew up in Guatemala, Chicago, New York City and Reading, Pa.

Mrs. Kase’s hobbies include reading, gardening, baking, biking, and collecting children’s books and international dolls. She has many interests that range from music to languages to history to baseball. One of Mrs. Kase’s favorite pastimes is watching and cheering Nick playing on his travel team. She also enjoys doing anything outside with the boys – swimming, biking, basketball, running, and fishing. The Kase family’s favorite place is St. George Island where they can do all of their favorite things together in the Florida sunshine.

Other interesting facts about Mrs. Kase are that she speaks several languages, worked in the White House, has traveled to all 50 states and 20 countries overseas, and has a magic spell for getting rid of the hiccups! Mrs. Kase has had a wide range of work experience with education elements (PR, banking, communication, government) but says that working in early education is where her heart is and where she belongs. “I truly love working with children. Every morning, I wake up and am so happy and excited to come to work. That is a very great blessing.”
