Work on your elevator pitch and present it to the group in a non-threatening, supportive environment. It is suggested the job seekers plan to arrive early, bring a good supply of their business cards and dress appropriately (business casual at the minimum). Hear James Pawlik, a job search expert, talk about the tips, tricks and techniques for finding that ideal job and how to shortcut the hiring process. Takeaways include how to create your marketing plan, learning the best networking opportunities in your job seeking and key resources to apply “guerilla” marketing to your job search.

Bio: James’ experience includes independent contractor positions as a Military to Civilian Career Transition Professional and a Job Search Coach since 2001 and Volunteer Director of the Career Ministry at St. Matthews Church since 2009.

James has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology-History from North Georgia College and State University and is a graduate of United States Military Academy at West Point.
