Man Found Dead of Gunshot Wound at Duluth Apartments

Gwinnett Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Friday afternoon at the Menlo Creek Apartments in unincorporated Duluth.

Cpl. Jake Smith reported that police officers responded about 3:40 p.m. Nov. 2 to a report of a shooting in the 200 Building of the apartment complex located at 4370 Satellite Blvd.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult white male deceased from a gunshot wound, Smith said in a media release. Detectives were called to the scene and are actively working the case, he said.

Police are not releasing any information regarding suspects or a motive, Smith said. The victim's identity is also being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
