We are trying to cover up the hurt, loneliness, abandonment, divorce, loss, depression, oppression, abuse, rejection and uncertainties. Our goal at Purple Women is to teach women that our God is a God of restoration. He will restore every area of your life. Not to where it used to be, not to where you imagined it would be but to where it is predestined to be. Join us on this mission to restore all women, from young to the old, whom God loves so much!

A man was tased and fatally shot during a Dec. 4 incident on North Alexander Street in Buford. The suspect has been identified as 20-year-old Jose Antonio Hernandez-Gonzalez of Buford. Gwinnett County Police were dispatched to a small apartment complex in response a report of people smoking marijuana. Upon arrival, officers encountered a group of five or six people in the parking lot. One of the officers began to frisk an adult Hispanic male. The male pulled away from the officer, withdrew a handgun out of his clothing and pointed the gun at his own head.
