Meet Sister Sledge! She is looking for a forever home. More ...

Adopting is a rewarding experience for everyone, especially the animals. Please consider saving a life today!

In June of 2014, a Good Samaritan happened upon a litter of eight two-month old starving puppies. The owner readily gave the puppies to the Good Samaritan and she cared for them until a Furkids volunteer could retrieve them. Sister Sledge was one of those puppies. She has come a long way since her starving puppy days. She has grown into a stunning and extremely loving young dog. She lives in a foster home and has been well socialized with children and adults. True to her breed mix, Sister Sledge is a real “people person!” She loves people of all ages and loves to be close to her humans. At night she even joins them in the bed, mindful not to be a blanket hog! Sister Sledge gets along with four legged companions of her own choosing, but will always love her humans the best! She is affectionate, loves to give kisses, and is very smart, too!

Sister Sledge’s adoption fee is $0 to a qualified adopter because someone thought Sister Sledge was special enough to sponsor her $275 adoption fee! Apply now to meet Sister Sledge at https://furkids.org/dog-adoptions/application or email dogadoptions@furkids.org with questions.
