Metropolitan Ballet Theatre Presents Giselle Ballet - Free Community Performance

METROPOLITAN BALLET FALL SHOW featuring GISELLE, Act II and Repertoire Highlights

Friday, October 17th at 7:30 and Saturday, October 18th at 2:00 and 7:00 PM

Metropolitan Ballet Theatre, in it’s 7th year of Community outreach, will be presenting an exciting collection of ballet favorites at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center! This year’s show features scenes from the classical ballet GISELLE, Act II along with favorites from the MBT repertoire.

A tale of a peasant girl’s young love, betrayal, broken heart, and forgiveness from beyond the grave, Giselle has enchanted audiences since it Paris debut in 1841. Metropolitan Ballet captures the haunting story’s second act, with a corp of ghostly spirits and a romantic and dramatic finale.

Part two of the program features a lively mix of ballet styles from classic to contemporary with spirit and spice to round out the evening!

The performances are October 17th at 7:30 PM and October 18th at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. To receive free tickets you register online only at Metropolitan Theatre’s website. Limited tickets will be available on day of performances at Roswell Cultural Arts Center.

SPECIAL EVENT! TUTUS AT 2:00

Special event following the Saturday, October 18th 2:00pm matinee. Let your aspiring young dancer take a special dance class with the dancers from the Giselle cast. The Tutu’s at Two is admission for the after show event as well as the 2:00pm show. Chaperones and additional attendees should reserve their seats through the Saturday 2:00pm ticketing selection at Metropolitan Ballet’s website.
