North Gwinnett, Duluth and Shiloh Set for 7on7 Tournament
The Georgia 7on7 Invitational is a qualifier for the National 7on7 championships in Hoover, Ala.

The Georgia 7on7 Invitational returns to Lassiter High School Friday and Saturday, and three Gwinnett County teams are participating in the 32-team event.
Duluth, North Gwinnett and Shiloh will be competing in a field that is heavy on metro Atlanta schools. The event is a qualifier for the National 7on7 championships in Hoover, Ala.

The other Georgia teams include: Alpharetta, Cartersville, Centennial, Cherokee, Dutchtown, Eagles Landing, Flowery Branch, Hillgrove, Jackson Co., Jefferson, Jonesboro, Lovejoy, Mays, North Cobb, Northview, Rabun Co., Shaw, South Forsyth, Walton, Wheeler, Kell and Westminster.
The format, which begins with pool play and then goes to a double-elimination phase, is designed to help sharpen offensive skills as high school teams are preparing for pre-season practice.

Lassiter is located at 2601 Shallowford Road in Northeast Cobb. Some games will be played Saturday morning at Kell High School, 4770 Lee Waters Road, also in Northeast Cobb.
