'Paint the Mall Pink' at the Mall of Georgia Oct. 4-7

Mall of Georgia hosting four-day event focused on women's health issues.

Head to the Mall of Georgia next week for four days of activities designed to promote women's health and wellness.

The event kicks off on Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. in the Nordstrom Court with "Girls Night Out." The first 300 attendees will receive gift bags filled with samples from stores and other themed goodies. The event features health and beauty demonstrations, shopping and prizes.

On Friday, Oct. 5 from 6-9 p.m., enjoy musical entertainment at The Village amphitheatre. Gwinnett Medical Center representatives will offer health and beauty-oriented activities.

Zumba, yoga, music, and health activities are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 6 from 12-6 p.m. at The Village Amphitheatre. Runners planning to participate in the Oct. 7 Great Gwinnett Road Run 5k & Fun Run can pick up their race packets form 2-6 p.m. The first 100 participants to pick up their race packets will receive a special runner’s swag bag.

The Great Gwinnett Road Run 5k & Fun Run benefitting the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition Fund will be held Sunday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 a.m. The race will be followed by a free post-race breakfast for all participants.
