Parkview fell behind early and couldn't get back in the game in a 34-10 loss at Grayson Friday night in high school football.
The Panthers, a Class 6A state quarterfinalist last year, fell to 0-3 for the first time since 1998, when they re-grouped to finish 9-4 and reach the state quarterfinals.
Grayson, which lost to Parkview 22-7 last year when the Rams were ranked No. 1 in the nation by some media outlets, scored the first 27 points before Parkview's Jeremy Lacey scored on a 53-yard play.
Eric Autry kicked a 43-yard field goal for Parkview's other points.
The Panthers play at home against Archer next Friday (7:30 p.m. kickoff).
