The Gwinnett
Coalition for Health and Human Services will be hosting a community town hall meeting
on Thursday, May 14, 2014 to engage the public, community agencies and their
representatives in on-going initiatives of the Gwinnett Coalition for Health
& Human Services. Participants will get an overview of the County’s new
strategic plan, discuss current collaborative initiatives and explore opportunities
for future partnership for the success of the Gwinnett Community.
The Gwinnett Coalition has been involved in facilitating
collaboration for the past 23 years. “Businesses, government agencies,
non-profit organizations, faith-based groups and other concerned citizens have
developed a very comprehensive five year strategic plan to address the health
and human service needs of our residents, says Ellen Gerstein, Executive
Director of the Gwinnett Coalition. “Come to this Town Hall meeting to find
ways for you to make a difference in your community.” This forum will also allow
you to be a part of an ongoing dialogue and participation that promotes the
well-being of Citizen’s in Gwinnett.
