Peanut Butter Recall Expanded to Include Target Brand

A type of Archer Farms peanut butter and almond butter were added to a list of products possibly tainted with Salmonella.

A voluntary recall of peanut butter has been expanded to include a brand sold at Target stores.

Earlier this month, Sunland, Inc. issued a recall of Trader Joe's Valencia Peanut Butter after concerns it may be contaminated with Salmonella. Sunland also makes products for Archer Farms, a label sold exclusively at Target.

Sunland is now recalling 16 ounce jars of Archer Farms' Creamy Almond Butter and Peanut Butter with Flax Seeds along with a number of other products, many of which are available for sale online.
