Peggy Freeman Recipient Of SAR "Martha Washington" Medal

The Atlanta Chapter Sons Of The American Revolution” has honored Peggy Freeman, Past Regent of the Philadelphia Winn Chapter, Daughters Of The American Revolution, with the Martha Washington Medal.
The medal is presented in grateful recognition for Peggy’s outstanding service to the Sons Of The American Revolution. Terry Manning, President of the Atlanta Chapter of SAR made the presentation. The medal is a most prestigious award
presented by the oldest SAR Chapter in the state of Georgia. Peggy was recognized for leading her DAR Chapter in a co-operative effort between SAR and DAR and her years of dedication to the preservation of patriotism and continued support of the U.S. military and veteran families.
The Philadelphia Winn Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution is located in Lawrenceville, GA. Members number just under 200.
