Prescription Drug Abuse Awareness Day

For the first time in Gwinnett County, Gwinnett United In Drug Education, Inc., will host a Prescription Drug Abuse Awareness Day, April 25.

Did you know? According to the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids, 1 out of 4 teens has abused prescription drugs.

Gwinnett United In Drug Education, Inc. (GUIDE) understands how important it is to bring more awareness to the Gwinnett community on this issue and educate youth and adults on prescription drug abuse. This semester, a group of four Master of Social Work students from Georgia State University has partnered with GUIDE, Inc. to host a Prescription Drug Abuse Awareness Day at Lucky Shoals Park, located in Norcross, on April 25 from 12-2pm for youth and adults from Gwinnett.
