President of the American Osteopathic Association to Visit GA-PCOM
Dr. Robert S. Juhasz will speak to GA-PCOM students about "The New AOA, Your AOA" this Wednesday.

(Suwanee, GA – March 30, 2015) Georgia Campus – Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (GA-PCOM) welcomes the President of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), Robert S. Juhasz, DO, to campus. Dr. Juhasz will present to the DO students on “The New AOA, Your AOA” this Wednesday.
The AOA is the primary certifying body for DOs and the accrediting agency for all osteopathic medical schools. It also has federal authority to accredit hospitals and other health care facilities. Dr. Juhasz, an AOA board-certified internist from Concord Township, Ohio, is the 118th president of the AOA.
Serving also as president of Cleveland Clinic’s South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, Dr. Juhasz has been named a “Top Doc” by Cleveland Magazine for several years, including 2013. Dr. Juhasz is the associate dean of the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-HCOM), Cleveland Clinic Extension Campus, and is an assistant clinical professor at the Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. He received the Phillips Medal of Public Service from OU-HCOM as well as the Ohio Osteopathic Association’s Trustee Award and was named an Honorary Alumnus of OU-HCOM in 2008.

Dr. Juhasz graduated from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences’ College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri before completing his internship and internal medicine residency training at what is now South Pointe Hospital. He is a fellow and diplomat of the American College of Osteopathic Internists and a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
