Press Release: New Model Home Now Open at Acadia Homes' Bakers Farm in Braselton
Atlanta New Home Builder Lifts the Curtain on The Sinclair Floorplan, Professionally Merchandised by Angela Cain Interiors
Atlanta, January 28, 2015 – As the first month of the New Year winds to a close, Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods is raising the curtain on its first new model home of 2015: The Sinclair at Bakers Farm. Located in Braselton – a stone’s throw from world-class resort and winery, Chateau Élan – Bakers Farm offers its residents beautiful homes, resort-inspired amenities, and close proximity to I-85 for ease of commute into Downtown Atlanta. The Sinclair – a one-and-a-half story floorplan that is exclusive to only three Acadia communities throughout Metro Atlanta – showcases all of the promise that many Acadia homes present to prospective homebuyers… affordable luxury. Professionally merchandised by Atlanta designer, Angela Cain of Angela Cain Interiors, the new model home at Bakers Farm is a celebration of tranquility and comfort with soft palettes of blues and greens blended with bold pops of color, built-in bookcases, and “real life”-friendly furniture choices.
“This was my first model home design for Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods and I am thrilled with the end-result,” said Cain. “Although Bakers Farm attracts a broad audience, the abundance of ranch floorplans throughout the community is particularly alluring to empty nesters. Therefore, I felt comfortable putting a more sophisticated spin on the color palette and design, while remaining on the cutting edge with some of my choices in order to appeal to a wide variety of guests who will be touring the model home. Furniture selections throughout the home are timeless and casual so visitors can actually envision themselves living there.”
The Sinclair – available at Bakers Farm, as well as Covenant Place in Powder Springs and McKinley Crossing in Gainesville – features four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. While most of the living spaces – including the sprawling owner’s suite, spacious family room, open gourmet kitchen, formal dining room, study and two secondary bedrooms – are all located on the main level, the second level boasts a fourth bedroom, full bath, expansive bonus room and finished storage area. Cain elected to design the upstairs to reflect a spacious teen suite, and a secondary bedroom on the main level as a craft space inspired by travel and scrapbooking to illustrate the flexibility of an Acadia Homes’ floorplan.

“Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods is a wonderful builder,” insisted Cain, whose next project will be Acadia’s model home at Sterling on the Lake in Flowery Branch. “Not only are they a joy to work with, they create a top-notch product. A lot of thought goes into their floorplan designs – right down to all of the little details. They really want to give the buyer something they’ll love for a long time. Quality of construction and attention to detail are definitely there – which is rare for a volume builder. As for Bakers Farm, the location is wonderful – really peaceful with a terrific looking clubhouse and exceptional amenities package. It’s an excellent value at that price point.”
At the helm of the sales office at Bakers Farm is Neighborhood Sales Manager, Frank Schmidt. He truly enjoys the opportunity to help home buyers find the ideal combination of floorplan and homesite to fit both their needs and vision – particularly since some of them may be seeking their “forever home.” With only 20 lots remaining – including both slab and basements – featuring new homes with stone and brick fronts as well as the exclusive “100%” JamesHardie siding & trim exteriors and price points in the mid-$200,000’s, Schmidt encourages prospective home buyers to hurry over to select their homesite and floorplan. They will also have an opportunity to select their paint colors, flooring, countertops, cabinets and more at Acadia’s award-winning and interactive Design Gallery in Atlanta.
