Red Clay Has New Signs, Identity
The new signs were installed to better identify the music venue and make it easier for patrons to find.

The large βR,β βC,β βTβ signs on the Red Clay Theatre in downtown Duluth have been replaced with signs that say "EOP" (Eddie Owen Presents), βLive,β and βMusicβ with the words βRedβ and βClayβ underneath.
The new signs were installed to better identify the music venue and make it easier for patrons to find.

Mayor Nancy Harris suggested recently that the facility be referred to as βRed Clayβ rather than βRed Clay Theatreβ to reflect its role as a music venue rather than a site for dramatic productions. Continuing to call it a theatre, she said, was creating confusion.
