Teen Arrested on Charge of Underage Drinking at Mill Creek vs. Dacula Game
Police called after school resource officer broke up fight and determined student had been drinking.
A fight at the Aug. 31 Mill Creek versus Dacula football game led to the arrest of a Buford teen on a charge of underage consumption of alcohol.
Gwinnett County Police were called to the stadium after a school administrator broke up a fight between Shamiek Johnson, 17, and another high school student. The school resource officer also responded to the scene and, after noticing an odor of alcoholic beverage on Johnson’s breath, used an alco sensor to determine if the teen, who is listed in the police report as a MCHS student, had been drinking.
