The Meaning Of Life

Well, at least I don’t run from the hard topics. This one might be the biggest one yet. What is the reason we are here. I believe I will use science in a metaphysical way to try to explain it. At least I have something to offer about the subject. This, after about 1000 hours of deep study.

I have a simple belief in a complex subject. Life, death, and all points in between. First, what are we? Not what we see in the mirror. Second. Who are we? Consciousness or a soul. Third, where is home? Not earth. This place is here for a reason. I would just have to guess why. Training would be my best guess. I hear many with religious beliefs say they are certain of all these things. Yet do not live a life that coincides with that belief. Simply put. They talk a lot. Seldom with their actions. Almost never actually. So, I decided I would follow my two point rule in finding answers. I prefer to get my evidence from eyewitnesses and scientific studies. Most have no idea there are plenty of both on this subject. I began hunting for the most credible research I could find. I found plenty.

In the Netherlands, Japan, Denmark, the UK, and in the US I found studies about what happens after we die. Near Death Experience. I’ll probably lose the closed-minded on that one. But, I want to be honest and not placate. These studies were overseen by real medical scientists. Neurosurgeons, MD’s, cardiologists, etc. All in a scholarly manner. So, regardless of your religious affiliation. These are very credible and deserve respect. Here are some highlights. All described the same place, all, when asked how long they were there intimated, forever, meaning time did not affect this place. The all had the same experience. The scientists that worked all those years on this study were mostly Atheists. Now, they are not. You see, no matter the religious belief, race, gender, age, language, etc. They all agreed on where they had been. All now believe in reincarnation because of some experiences they had there. They also we are here on earth, having a human experience to learn how to love more. Being in a place of total acceptance, immersed in love, and a part of the whole. Is not a place to learn about love. This is. So that with each life we do better. I can’t say why all this stuff is. Only that empirical evidence points to it. My open mind accepts this.

In my search for the meaning of life, I found purpose, wisdom, and real unfiltered love. I’m not sure how many actually experience real love in their life, I just know that I have. It’s such a powerful thing. We would give our life for it in a minute without hesitation. That is what real love does. I guess what I am saying is, the meaning of life is the search and perfection of love. I always fear these words will come out too flowery. But, I call it the way I see it. I study it in every direction I am able before writing about it. Love is both a mystery and the answer to most deep question. Or at least the proper response to them.
