Gwinnett County Public Library Welcomes Winston Groom - Nov 16 at 7:30pm

In his powerful new book The Generals, celebrated historian Winston Groom tells the intertwined and uniquely American tales of George Patton, Douglas MacArthur, and George Marshall - from the World War I battle that shaped them to their greatest victory: leading the allies to victory in World War II. The efforts of these three remarkable men revealed to the world the grit and determination that would become synonymous with America in the post-war years.

Best known for his book Forrest Gump, American novelist and Vietnam War veteran, Winston Groom, will appear at a free event courtesy of Gwinnett County Library on November 16 at 7:30pm at the Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center, 10 College Street, Norcross 30071. Books will be available for purchase and signing provided by Eagle Eye Book Shop.
