Woman Robbed in Parking Lot of Hamilton Mill Road Kroger

A 27-year-old Buford woman was yanked out of her vehicle as she struggled to keep a robber from stealing her purse in the parking lot of the Hamilton Mill Road Kroger.

The woman told police she was getting into her friend’s vehicle just after 10 p.m. on Nov. 21 when a car stopped nearby. A male exited the rear passenger seat of the car and approached the woman, repeatedly saying, “Hey you!”

The woman reportedly told the man she did not know him and was halfway in her friend’s vehicle when the man grabbed her purse and began pulling on it. The woman struggled to hold on to the purse and was dragged out of the vehicle to the ground.
