Woman: She Ran at Me, So I Punched Her in the Face

A night of drinking at a Dacula residence ended with a trip to jail for a Sugar Hill woman.

Gwinnett County Police were called to a home in the 2800 block of Belshire Trail on Feb. 24 just before 4 a.m. in response to a disturbance. According to the homeowner, a guest -- Sabrina Fisher, 25, of Sugar Hill -- had been drinking and was "trying to fight with everyone in the house."

The homeowner said he asked Fisher to leave, but she refused. The homeowner claimed Fisher attacked him, grabbed his shirt and tried to pull him around. According to the homeowner, he pushed her hands away and she tripped and fell into the wall.

A female friend of the homeowner said she yelled at Fisher to leave the homeowner alone. The woman told police she and Fisher were yelling back and forth and exchanged curse words.

"She said Fisher called her a 'C' word," the officer wrote in the report. "[The woman] said she went into the kitchen with her arms out saying 'What did you call me [expletive deleted]?' and Fisher punched her in the face."

The officer noted the woman had a swollen and bloody nose.
