Johns Creek International Festival Returns April 27

Johns Creek is home to more than 83,000 people and is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the state and nation.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Sample delicious food from around the world, watch musical and dance performances, check out international art, and browse retail vendors - all at the Johns Creek International Festival on Saturday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the fields across from the Atlanta Athletic Club.

The City of Johns Creek is home to more than 83,000 people and is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the state and nation, representing many countries and cultures from around the world. The Johns Creek International Festival is a celebration of the best traditional food, music and art from our own backyard.

The city invites everyone to come dance, eat, drink and play at Heisman Field, located across from the Atlanta Athletic Club, 1930 Bobby Jones Dr. This event is being presented in partnership with the City of Johns Creek, Johns Creek Arts Center, and the Johns Creek Convention and Visitor Bureau.

This free community event features restaurants and food trucks, vendors, international beer and wine garden, live music and dance performances, and fun kids’ activities. Last year, the inaugural festival welcomed more than 22,000 people. Volunteers are needed to help out with the festival. If you like being outdoors and meeting new people, this may be for you. Parking:

You can park on-site at the festival. You can enter the festival at the traffic light/intersection of Medlock Bridge Road and the Atlanta Athletic Club. The entrance to the fields is directly across from the Atlanta Athletic Club. Handicap parking will also be available.

FOOD & DRINK

Smell the aroma of Asian and Indian spices. Sample the savory flavors of the Mediterranean and Europe. Indulge in the delicious dishes of Latin America. Take your taste buds for a journey and experience various traditional food from international restaurants and food trucks. The Global Beer and Wine Garden will feature brews and wines from around the globe. From stouts to chardonnay, explore different beverages from countries far away and close to home. Ages 21+ only.

MUSIC & PERFORMANCE

Shake your hips to the sounds of Salsa, feel the bass of live drums, get down to the rhythm of rock with a wide variety of live performers.The stage will feature tantalizing live bands, dance and martial arts performances, soloists, and instrumentalists from countries around the world, and much more. GLOBAL MARKETPLACE

Check out art and crafts from featured cultural artisans and browse through a visual and hand crafted art market from some of the areas most talented artists.

KIDS CORNER

Bring the family and enjoy engaging and collaborative activities for the kids as they have fun learning about cultures from around the world. Activities include face painting, cultural story telling, and art stations. Activities provided by the Johns Creek Arts Center.
