“Our city is exceptional, but what makes it truly unique are our young people,” said Mayor Mike Bodker. “The middle students in Johns Creek will be our community leaders in just a few short years and if these talented students are representative, Johns Creek has a bright future indeed.”

Middle school students from all around Johns Creek submitted essays describing their thoughts and ideas of what truly makes their city exceptional. Of those submitted, the nine finalists and three first place winners shone in both originality and creativity.
